The adjustable Velcro closures allow the shoe to be easily adjusted to the needs of your foot. The removable insole allows you to use your own orthotic inserts. I covered my inserts with the feet of some old socks since that I could wear the shoes without stockings. The openings in the sides and back allow for air flow, making them cool in summer, and with socks they are warm in cooler weather. They provide an easier walking gait with the wider base. I don’t feel as tired after walking several yards as I do in regular sport shoes that are supposed to be designed for the purpose.

What I love best about these sandals is not just the comfort- but the fact that there is a Velcro strap on the side- and on the back! While I don’t normally adjust the back strap, when my feet get swollen and I need a little bit more room in this sandal I can have it- because of this back strap.Comfortable, versatile for the swelling foot, being older with medical issues- these sandals proved to be a relief- as they could relieve my foot at any size when swollen. I will never get used to how easy these sandals have made my life, and like I said, all on top of being very comfortable to wear (even if you don’t get swollen feet too ;).

I love these shoes. I have diabetes and wide feet that hurt a lot. These shoes are supportive and they protect my feet. I was going barefoot around the house a lot but bumped my one toe often. These shoes are so comfortable that I don’t mind wearing them all of the time. They are wide in the toe box and across the top of my foot, where I need it. They have small arch supports and the sole is rubbery and well treaded to prevent slipping. I love that these strap on with Velcro from the top of the shoe. They are easy for me to put on. These shoes are worth twice the price for my foot comfort!

I ordered these FitVille women’s sandals for my wife, who has arthritis in one foot and needs comfortable footwear.These sandals, by FitVille, a brand I’ve known for years for producing footwear for men and women that is affordable, attractive and most importantly, comfortable, are simply amazing! I have 4 pairs of FitVille shoes and love the quality and the fact that they offer Wide EE sizes. I’m wearing a pair right now.These sandals are all about comfort and have Velcro sides that release, allowing the foot to enter from the top, if needed. You adjust the fitment accordingly. The top of her right foot is sensitive, so this allows just the right amount of closure without too much pressure. Nice!You also can adjust the heel, reducing any forward or back slippage of the foot within the sandal.The footbed is contoured and generously padded, offering ample arch and heel support. The interior is lightly padded as well.The exterior has a lightweight, breathable, hexagonal patterned material that looks nice, but may be harder than a solid surface to clean.The sole is thick, fairly “tall” in that it adds some height, seems extremely durable and yet flexible. There is a curvature built into the sole, so that from the toe knuckles forward there is a natural “uplift” allowing for easier walking. The patterned tread offers “sipes” similar to tire design, but intended to permit flexibility with less effort.She says these are the most comfortable sandals she’s ever had and she’s really happy with them. Easy to put on and take off. Perfect for casual summer wear. I’m glad I found these. Another home run by FitVille!Highly recommended and would buy these again.

I bought these to use after a toe nail removal. With a large bandage on one foot, these were easy to get on and had great adjustability so each foot was comfortable. They are not stylish shoe, but practical.

I didn’t order these for the looks 😉 but for times when foot problems rear their ugly foot! I am well satisfied with the fit and comfort. They will be valuable when needed! I particularly like how adjustable they are, to allow for swelling when needed. I appreciate that they even have an adjustable heel, as often my heel will slip and this solves that problem. Glad to have found a brand that is comfortable and well fitting. I will definitely check out other shoes from this company that can accommodate orthotics. I see they also make men’s shoes so will check them out for my husband too.

I got this set because I have medical issues & needed a specific shoe to wear that would allow ease of putting on instead of the usual sliding your foot in. This shoe allows you to unhook the back strap plus the other two ones on the top. The is a wonderful thing for those whom need the ability to strap a shoe on as opposed yo the usual method. I am beyond satisfied with these. They are very comfortable yet they have really good support 7 have held up well. I also like the fact that they come in 1/2 sizes.
