…at least they are on our laminate and that’s where they are put to the test for a lot of physical therapy activity. It’s extremely important that his feet are securely planted and these are the best for that. I tried four or five quite different styles and prices of shoes to accommodate. They all got sent back. These simple ten dollar pool shoes did the trick, though. The mesh is airy and comfortable and the Velcro is well designed to “customize” the tightness. They are very flat and hard so keep that in mind. He doesn’t actually walk more than a few steps so I can’t say how they would hold up under duress. They are just cheap little water shoes but they seem like nice cheap little water shoes.

I didn’t purchase these shoes for the beach at all. In fact I don’t think they would be comfortable for much walking around…the mesh is a little scratchy and the heel doesn’t hold securely. Nope…I purchased them for the bathtub. I recently had knee surgery and love soaking in my bathtub. Getting out, however, is an adventure because even with a bath mat my feet slip a little bit and my knee isn’t yet strong enough to not worry about falling. So when I’m ready to exit the tub I pop on my little slippers and they grip slippery surfaced beautifully. I did cut out the foam lining…it’s only attached at the toe tip…so drips are minimal. Then they dry quickly, ready for my next bath. All that said though, if I were planning to walk on sand at the beach in these shoes I would only give them one star!

I really like these, I wasn’t sure about the size but they do fit to size for me. They are comfortable and very lightweight and I will get a lot of use out of them on my cruise and on the beach. I got them in white.

Fair price, Good fit, ease to pull on/off, if public facilities used, always good to have pair on hand for beaches, showers, toilet areas, etc. For a few dollars a pair they’re durable enough for at least a summer or two.

I bought these as there are days that bending down and pulling on water shoes at the beach is impossible ( hip arthritis)… but with the Velcro strap I can do it myself now!

Because of balance issues, I have used bath mats, and later hand towels on the bottom of my shower to keep me from slipping. I began searching for something that would be easy to use & portable when I’m not at home, then I found these barefoot water shoes with non-slip sole, or “shower slippers” as I call them and they are perfect! I feel very safe now and they are just perfect for me!

The barefoot water shoes are perfect for the beach, poolside, sand, wet areas and shower stalls. I plan to use them to walk up the mountain beside the Niagra Falls in Canada, if the walkway is open to the public. The shoes will help me to remain stable, as I am not to fall, due to heart surgery.
