My mom has super sensitive, misshapen, diabetic feet and also hammer toes. She can’t wear crocs anymore due to all the blisters she was getting so we were looking for something that would alleviate the pressure closed toe shoes put on the tops of her toes. These have a nicely padded footbed, seamless insides, and the Velcro is very adjustable and will still accommodate her misshapen feet even if they are bandaged or swollen. We tried a similar Velcro sandle style by Silverts, but they were way too narrow. Mom normally wears a 9 in crocs, or 9.5 WW in Dr Comforts, but the 8 w in these fit perfect.

I bought these to help with a planter plate tear. Between the custom orthotics and splints I have to wear, I needed a stiff sole shoe that allows space for all that extra stuff. These are perfect! I actually got a few “cute shoes” compliments on them. I thought they were sarcastic compliments, but the chunky sandal is a stylistic preference to some.At the next checkup I had with my specialist, he was even impressed with my find! He wrote down the brand so he could recommend them to other patients. I went through a lot -A LOT- of shoes to find a pair that didn’t anger my injury. Even the expensive high end shoes. With this type of injury, high tech brands are nothing if they don’t allow the foot to be in the correct position. These sandals make my feet happy and I didn’t have to spend a lot to do so.

This shoe has a great sole – My mother had trouble walking on her HOKAs – these are much safer and she walks better in them. She had to size down to an 8 W – Normally wears a size 10 W. Easy to take on and off. Buying one pair for outside and one pair for inside.

I love the support that these shoes give! After tearing my meniscus in my right knee a few years ago, my knee would feel painful if standing or walking too long. These shoes make a world of difference- no knee pain!

These shoes are a life saver for my mother, who has huge bunion problems, corns, occasional swollen feet, etc. She can adjust them to work around any problems she’s having. No other shoes work for her.
