Croatian 1951 –
I don’t typically write reviews of products this quickly – only Received the Sketchers Energy Afterburn Sneakers yesterday. I felt compelled to. I have size 13 foot, but based on other reviewers’ recommendation, I sized Up to a 14 Wide. They were right. The 14 Wide was the way to go for me. The Sneaker offers solid platform for activity. I have some Balance issues due to Spinal & Cervical Stenosis at 72 Years Old, these shoes seem to provide a better platform form their solid and a bit more rigid sole – being helpful to me. They could be a scooch more wide in the toe box, but being leather uppers I know they will Give and stretch out over time. I’m a bit more hampered than others in that I need to wear Orthotics in the right shoe to accommodate my leg length discrepancy of about 1″ on the right leg. They fit comfortably and at this price appear to be a Bargain to me. IMHO, these are not Pure Walkers but more a Shoe for activities. They are a bit heavier than my New Balance & Clark Walkers but with more foot/ankle support.

I walk a lot, like 20+ miles a week. I go through shoes at a pretty good clip so I’m always trying to find reasonably priced shoes that are comfortable and will hold up as long as possible. These shoes have worked out very well, well enough that I’ve already gotten a second pair for when I’ve worn the heals off of these.The gold standard are when I can get a year out of a pair and these aren’t going to go that long, but they are doing well enough I’m very satisfied. The only complaint is how they glue in the insoles. If I had needed to replace them with better ones to make the shoes comfortable I would have been out of luck. Fortunately the provided ones have worked for me but I can see how they might not work for everyone.

I like the support Skechers give. They also always last, still using my older ones for working out, 3 years now. The cushion is really comfortable. Versatile for all my walking, riding ebike or motorcycle. No slipping and never ever a blister. I’m always trying to find the 9.5W and Skechers always come through. Small Town living gets tough for some things. Good price.

First off this sneaker is very sturdy and wears like iron … And probably would not make a great athletic sneaker because of it’s sturdiness … I’ve been using these sneakers for about 5 years for yard work and cutting grass …I cut 10 lawns per week and will by again when needed

As a diabetic, I have to be careful to get shoes fit well, so I was reluctant to buy online, but I did so and I’m extremely pleased with sketchers probably slightly oversize foot print shoes. If these hold up, I would love to have a few more.

I have never bought shoes from Amazon before. Was a bit hesitant. But I have worn 9.5W for many decades, so I took a chance. I saw they were sold and shipped by Amazon so the return policy wasn’t going to be a problem. I bought the 9.5W. As soon as I put them on, all that concern went out the window. Absolutely PERFECT fit. UPDATE: Since writing this review, my wife likes Skechers and decided she wanted a pair. So upon checking out many useful comments, we took a chance and purchased a pair of these men’s shoes for her. We subtracted 1 1/2 sizes from her regular width size 8 womens and ordered a regular width 6 1/2 mens. Perfect fit for her. Much thanks for all the helpful comments.
