I am being treated for lymphedema, which involves wearing very bulky bandages, and I could fit in any shoes other than old Crocs. These arrived just 2 days after ordering and they are WONDERFUL. I wear Size 8 Wide, and ordered these in the same size but in Extra Wide. The three wide Velcro straps encase the entire bandaged foot and make possible a PERFECT FIT! The heel’s Velcro strap means you can easily adjust the length of the shoe. They are so adjustable that I’m sure I can wear them for upcoming toe surgery, and later as slippers. The key to these? The memory foam insole. They are immediately comfortable, and will enable me to take long walks. So they are good indoors and outdoors. Nothing pinches and the feet feel just fine after wearing them 2 hours….Not the height of fashion, to be sure. But excellent for very swollen or bandaged feet.

Ordered these for my mom at the recommendation of her Occupational therapist. Recovering from hip surgery and dealing with some swelling of feet and ankles. The shoes are well made, quality material and soles were also sturdy. Unfortunately the Velcro closure was not ample enough for us to actually be able to secure and close. Therefore they sit unused in her closet.

I purchased these for my 91 year old mother who was struggling with footwear. Her legs and feet were not too swollen in the morning, but as the day went on, wow! Nothing fit! I tried support socks & ace wraps, but the swelling still prevented even slippers from fitting. When I saw these I thought it was worth a try. I only wish I found them sooner! They are the most comfortable footwear she has had in YEARS! And they are adjustable to accommodate for edema! I HIGHLY recommend these shows!

I purchased these to wear after a foot injury. They are very comfortable and super soft on the inside. The top and heel of the shoe are both adjustable velcro closures.

I was getting discouraged trying to find something that could actually change the slipper size with additional swelling. You could tell that even though the ones I saw had velcro on the top, they probably wouldn’t do well if your swelling increased. I believe these slippers are perfect because they not only easily close on the top front, but also close in the back of the slipper, which helps in the situation of a foot that has gotten wider. I don’t think they seem terribly comfortable, but I just got them today and haven’t worn them. But I am very happy with them, especially for the price and what I believe is their ability to deal with an increase in foot size..

The Velcro is very gripping , so if a person doesn’t have enough strength in fingers to undo them it will more difficult to undo to take them on and off.They are adjustable but if you have a very wide thick foot you may need to go up a size

These have great adaptability in wrapping around your foot. They have good traction. I originally bought a larger size and thought one size smaller would be ideal. I was wrong, the next size down felt more like it was two sizes smaller and couldn’t be worn.

I ordered two different sizes of this shoe for my 96-year-old mother who suffers from swelling in her feet and ankles. These are just great, and she’s very happy with them. What a brilliant design for those who have this problem. No having to force the foot down into a stiff shoe with ties. Just set the foot on the sole and pull the flaps over and close securely with velcro. These were heaven-sent for her! (Returned the size that didn’t fit . . . )
